From launching Telos EVM 2.0 and advancing zero-knowledge research to announcing Telos X, Telos had a year to remember. Looking back at 2024, it’s hard not to feel proud. Sure, we hit some major tech milestones, but what really stands out is the momentum the sense that we’re building something unstoppable together.

Here’s what we accomplished:

• Telos EVM 2.0: Now live, bringing closer Ethereum RPC compatibility and the kind of speed and efficiency developers dream about.
• 377 Million Blocks Without Downtime: That’s right zero downtime. While others struggled, we kept the lights on, proving that Telos is synonymous with reliability.
• Transactions are up by 193% from the previous year. More people are trusting Telos than ever before, and the numbers prove it.
• Telos X Announcement: A cryptocurrency exchange powered by Binance’s Link Program is set to launch soon. Spoiler: it’s going to change the game by bringing user adoption to the ecosystem.
• SNARKtor Development:  With SNARKtor, we’ve taken giant leaps in zk technology, showing the world what blockchain privacy and scalability can really look like.
• 10,000+ NTTs Minted on Tekika: The first season of Tekika was a smashing success, helping us expand partnerships and grow our ecosystem like never before.

Telos EVM 2.0 Is Live

This year, we finally unveiled Telos EVM 2.0, a moment we’d been working toward for what felt like forever. And guess what? It was worth the wait.

With full Ethereum JSON-RPC compatibility, developers now have everything they love about Ethereum but with faster transactions, lower costs, and streamlined node management. We didn’t just improve; we redefined what an EVM can be.

Telos X: Expanding What’s Possible 

When we announced Telos X in September, we weren’t just launching another exchange. We were setting the stage for something bigger a future where liquidity is simple, token listings are seamless, and TLOS holders have more opportunities than ever before.

Thanks to our integration with Binance’s Link Program, Telos X will hit the ground running with global reach. Launching in early 2025, this isn’t just an exchange; it’s a doorway to a new era of growth for Telos.

Leadership That Inspires

This year, we welcomed John Lilic as Telos’ new CEO. From day one, John’s energy was palpable. “Telos has always been about pushing boundaries,” he said, “but now it’s time to lead the charge in how Web3 communities operate and thrive.”

Under his leadership, Telos isn’t just a blockchain it’s evolving into a Web3 Venture Production Studio, where the community doesn’t just have a seat at the table they’re calling the shots.

In 2024, we unveiled the Telos Manifesto, a declaration of what we stand for and where we’re going. It’s more than a roadmap, it's a movement.

SNARKtor: Pioneering Zero-Knowledge

This year, SNARKtor emerged as a major milestone in our efforts to scale zero-knowledge technology. After releasing the whitepaper in February, we showcased a proof-of-concept at EthCC 2024, where we used SNARKtor to aggregate zk proofs for a digital Battleship game.

It might sound niche, but trust us this technology has massive implications for scalability, cost reduction, and privacy in blockchain. And we’re just getting started.

Telos introduced a breakthrough Polygon Hermez zkEVM proof wrapper powered by Plonky2 GoldiBear, dramatically improving zkEVM Layer 2 efficiency and reducing costs.

Telos introduced Plonky2 Goldibear, a cutting-edge proof aggregator optimized for the BabyBear field. This innovation delivers exceptional speed and efficiency, enabling recursive proof aggregation at unprecedented scales.
