September was packed with exciting developments at Telos, including the reveal of three out of eight major announcements that spotlight our progress in blockchain technology, Zero Knowledge technology developments, and ecosystem expansion.
Key highlights include our Gold sponsorship at TOKEN2049, the launch of Telos X, our new crypto exchange, and significant updates on SNARKtor, our proof aggregation protocol. Telos' Next Growth Leap: Unveiling Major Announcements and Product Updates, One at a Time
September marked the beginning of a series of eight major announcements, with 3/8 revealed so far. These updates spotlight our progress on development milestones, Zero Knowledge research, and ecosystem development. Each announcement brings us closer to unlocking Telos’ full potential, with products like Telos X and SNARKtor setting the stage for future growth.

Announcing: Telos X
Telos X is a new cryptocurrency exchange powered by the Binance Link Program, aimed at streamlining token listings and increasing liquidity in the Telos ecosystem. Featuring $TLOS as a main trading pair, Telos X is set to play a pivotal role in growing the Telos network and making it easier for projects to thrive in a competitive market.
SNARKtor Development Updates
Since publishing the SNARKtor whitepaper in February 2024, we've made significant progress in developing this protocol that scales zk-SNARKs in blockchain ecosystems.
We've achieved several key milestones, including reorganizing the SNARKtor repositories to support the next phases of development, integrating Docker to provide a streamlined development environment (including for the Battleship demo), and releasing the first official versions of SNARKtor components on GitHub, making the protocol more accessible to developers worldwide.
Additionally, we’ve introduced on-chain user registration, allowing users to seamlessly register and fund accounts within the SNARKtor ecosystem, further simplifying interaction with the protocol.
Roadmap: Decoding the Path to Telos' Hardware-Accelerated zkEVM L2
The Telos zkEVM roadmap outlines the integration of hardware acceleration and SNARKtor into the Telos zkEVM. Starting in Q4 2024, the testnet will leverage TLOS as the native token for optimized cryptographic operations, reducing gas costs and boosting dApp performance. By Q4 2025, full SNARKtor integration will offer more efficient proof aggregation, making decentralized applications on Telos scalable, fast, and cost-effective.

Telos at TOKEN2049 Singapore
We made waves at TOKEN2049 Singapore, where our Executive Director John Lilic introduced the launch of Telos X during his presentation. The event, held at the iconic Marina Bay Sands on September 18-19, attracted over 20,000 attendees from 7,000+ companies, providing the perfect platform for Telos to showcase our latest innovations.
As a Gold Sponsor, Telos highlighted advancements in SNARKtor and our zkEVM roadmap. Attendees visited our booth and experienced live demonstrations of our SNARKtor PoC.

With only 200 passes available, the mint generated significant community interest.
Galxe Quests with Meridian and Symmetric.
In partnership with MeridianFi and Symmetric, Telos hosted 2 DeFi Quests on Galxe, offering a 10,000 TLOS prize pool for the top 25 participants. The quest attracted DeFi enthusiasts eager to compete for rewards, with the first-place winner taking home 1,000 TLOS.

360 Million Blocks, Zero Downtime
September marked a major milestone for the Telos network—reaching 360 million blocks with zero downtime since its launch in 2018. As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to providing a dependable network for our community and partners.
Tekika's First Rewards Claim
On September 14th, the Tekika Adventure platform celebrated the first rewards claim, where users unlocked Relic NFT #3 and earned sTLOS multipliers based on their XP. The claim was met with excitement as the community continues to explore this dynamic NFT experience.
