Telos Network June Recap: Integrations, Product Updates, Events and Community

As we enter July, let's take a moment to reflect on the key developments and milestones achieved last month.

We proudly announced our Diamond sponsorship at EthCC, where we'll debut our SNARKtor proof of concept. Our ecosystem welcomed new integrations with Ormi Labs, Yasp.Fi, Ankr, and dRPC, enhancing our platform's functionality and reach. Additionally, our role as Super Sponsors at ETH Belgrade and the launch of the MinoNFT fantasy football competition have kept our community engaged and excited. Major Announcements: 

Telos Diamond Sponsorship EthCC

In June we announced our Diamond sponsorship at EthCC from July 8th to 11th. At EthCC, we will showcase our SNARKtor proof of concept (POC) for the first time. Alberto Garoffolo, our Head of ZK Technology, will present it on the main stage on Wednesday, July 10th. That's not all—our team will be on the ground at our booth in the EthCC[7] Sponsors Hall, located in the ATLANTIS Block, Level -2 of the venue. 

We will also be participating in a number of side events, including Telos ZK Brewing@EthCC, BOUNDLESS at EthCC and Aggregation Day Brussels, focusing on emerging trends and innovations in the Web3 and ZK space.

Telos (TLOS) Token Migration on Ethereum and BNB Network

In June, we announced the Telos (TLOS) Token Migration on Ethereum and BNB networks. The new TLOS token contracts are now available, transitioning from our third-party bridge provider to our own contract based on the LayerZero OFT standard. This change affects the existing BNB Chain and Ethereum-based TLOS but does not impact TelosEVM and TelosZero-based TLOS. The previous ptokens TLOS will no longer be the primary version on BSC and Ethereum, and all exchanges and wallets are advised to transition. The new cross-chain TLOS is available on our official bridge.

Events:

Eth Belgrade

Telos joined as Super Sponsors at ETH Belgrade from June 3rd to 5th, a major Ethereum conference in Europe. We highlighted our hardware-accelerated zkEVM Layer 2, developed with Ponos Technology, to improve Ethereum Virtual Machine scalability and speed up transactions using zero-knowledge proofs. Our team discussed real-world uses and connecting with attendees at our booth. Side events included the ZK Belgrade conference, advancing conversations on blockchain innovation and community partnerships.

Development updates 

EVM 1.5 Updates:

• Audit Fixes: Finalized and received sign-off on all audit fixes for version 1.5,

zkEVM Proof of Concept Progress:

• Continued progress and testing on zkEVM proof of concept ready for presentation at EthCC in July. 

RPC 2.0 Progress:

• Made significant advancements in the development of RPC 2.0, aimed at enhancing system interaction and reliability.

  • Compatibility API issue with missing ERC20 transfer data resolved.
  • Export CSV filter by block number fixed.

Community Updates: 

MinoNFT Fantasy Football Competition

Robinos Predict launches their MinoNFT fantasy football competition linked to Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024. MinoNFT is a NFT collection designed for the Robinos sports prediction platform, allowing players to collect digital cards representing real-life athletes.
