Tekika Guide 101: Telos' Narrative-Driven Quest Campaign

‍On the surface of a dystopian world where the Nenokrah have tightened their grip on Lumara, a life-sustaining substance, an enigmatic inventor known only as the Proph unveils a mysterious mask. This mask, shrouded in secrecy, transforms Lumara into an ethereal gas. This inhalable fume grants its user higher faculties, intelligence, and ancestral memories. As whispers of this revolutionary device spread, the Nenokrah wage a war to prevent the masks from proliferating, driving the Proph and his outcast followers into the subterranean depths to be snuffed out like a flame.

Tekika is a unique quest experience built within the Telos ecosystem. 

What does this mean? 

Tekika is an NFT project that takes you through narrative-driven quests. Completion of quests earns you XP points (experience points), gives you real rewards and upgrades your PFP. 

Essentially, participants in Tekika can earn and evolve a unique avatar while unlocking exclusive content and rewards.

How Tekika Works

Participants choose from one of three tribes—SocialFi (Depth Phantoms), DeFi (Shadow Reavers), and GameFi (Veiled Dragoons). They engage in various tasks to gather XP.

Each tribe has a rich lore within the Tekika universe, reflected in the upgradable components players will unlock.

Choose wisely, as your decision can not be changed once you have selected a tribe to represent. 

Earning and Progression

Players earn rewards by completing quests that award them XP. The quest will be broken into three major categories: Social, Gaming, and defi tasks. 

For example:

1. Social quests: 

This may require the user to follow a particular Campaign partner's account or amplify an announcement post to spread awareness. 

2. Gaming Quests: 

This May require the user to achieve a particular level inside of a game or to hold a specific NFT token that is either available by playing the game or for sale on the open market

3. Defi Tasks: 

Depending on the application, this may require the user to complete tasks on the particular Defi protocol, such as performing a token swap of a certain pair, adding liquidity to a defined pool, or minting tokens. 

Multiplier: 

Additionally, the quantity of STLOS tokens held in a user's wallet is monitored through snapshots to determine a multiplier for their collected XP; this multiplier will vary based on the amount held by the user at any given snapshot. 

Dynamic NFTs: A Visual Evolution

A standout feature of Tekika is its dynamic NFTs, showcasing art from the distinguished digital artist MUTE. 

These NFTs evolve visually based on a player’s XP and journey within the game’s narrative. The evolving artwork not only reflects players' progression but also ties into the rich story of Tekika, highlighting the significance of new technologies.

The mask elements are dynamic pieces that can be added, swapped, or removed during the campaign, offering users the most adaptive and flexible experience for personalizing your Tekika. 

Tekika allows for your avatar to be completely customizable to the player based on their preferences and the equipment they have unlocked during gameplay. 

Introducing the Artist: Mute 

Born and raised in Peru, MUTE has been passionate about art and illustration since an early age. Over the past nine years, MUTE has worked as an illustrator and creative director on various projects, gaining global recognition. His venture into the NFT realm began in 2020, leading successful projects such as Bitcoin Origins. Currently, he focuses on Tekika, to create a vibrant cyberpunk world with visually stunning NFT art.

Joining The Whitelist

Users who sign up for the Tekika whitelist will be able to get a head start on earning experience points through quests and referrals. 

Complete the following steps to join the White List:

1. Visit Tekika.io and click the "Join Whitelist" button.

2. Connect your Web3 wallet to the Tekika page. Ensure the Telos Mainnet is available in your wallet.

If you need to add Telos to your wallet, click off the wallet pop-up screen and press the switch network button where the ‘signup’ button used to be.

3. Connect your Twitter/X account by clicking "Link X Account" and signing the permission. (Optional) Enter a referral code to earn extra XP.

4. Click "Submit" to complete the whitelist sign-up.

Congratulations! You are now signed up on the Tekika White list. You will now be able to navigate the dashboard area of the site. Here, you will find various tasks that add XP to your score, such as connecting an email address, Discord, and various social quests.

The dashboard is also where you will find a unique referral code linked to your account. You can provide this code to friends to gain an additional 100XP to add to your score. Once the social quests are complete, this is the easiest way to gather additional points for yourself and those who sign up under your code.

Participation in Tekika is free but comes packed with rewards. These include DeFi partner tokens and exclusive items from over 10 different partners and more to be announced. 

The collection will first launch as an NTT allowing you time to acquire multiple equipment for your Tekika before the end of Season 1.
