Welcome to the first of our bi-weekly Telos EVM technical updates! In these we’ll be getting the community caught up on all the nerdy stuff that’s going on behind the scenes to make this groundbreaking project a reality!
Our last update on the Technical side of things was some weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been working hard on this project, it’s quite the opposite! We’ve been so busy working through the tasks on our roadmap, bringing on new team members, and developing a more efficient workflow that technical updates haven’t been a priority.
But we want everyone in the community to be as excited as we are about the speed at which progress is being made behind the scenes! So, going forward we’ll be releasing regular updates to the public road map on a bi-weekly basis, as well as updating the community on anything else going on from a technical standpoint, until our mainnet launch. We’ve got lots to fill you in on in this first update so let’s dive in!
Work in Milestone 2 Has Begun!
With the recruitment of new team members, we’ve recently begun work on Milestone 2 in our Technical EVM Roadmap. This phase focuses on ensuring that the EVM runs properly on the testnet, allowing developers to deploy their own Telos EVM instances for local development and runs automated test suites of popular Ethereum and Solidity projects (such as SushiSwap, OpenZeppelin, MakerDAO).
Starting technical work on Milestone 2 is a major step forward for the EVM team and speaks to the speed at which we are working to get the Telos EVM completed and running on the mainnet.

New EVM Web Portal
We’re currently building a new web portal on Telos.net to act as a home base for this project. This will be a key tool in onboarding new partners and introducing the Telos EVM project to individuals who are interested in learning more about this exciting initiative. We’ll likely have this launched within the next few days and can’t wait to share it with the community!
Another New Team Member!
This initiative continues to expand its reach and growth potential by bringing on professionals who can handle every aspect of such a diverse project. Jeff Nowak is the most recent addition to our team and he’ll be heading our partnership’s initiative, including onboarding dApps, developers and valuable business partners. Jeff’s already heavily involved in the Telos Foundation as Team Lead of the Partnerships Department, so we’re lucky to have him joining the Telos EVM team as well!
As we work toward mass adoption, Telos continues to welcome partners operating in every area of the industry. The EVM update is a massive move for Telos and if you want to get involved, we’d love to hear from you! We’re consistently looking for innovative projects, industry partners, new investors and everyone else in between. If this sounds like you, drop us a line!
New EVM Web Portal
We’ve had so many recent developments going on within the Telos EVM project and we’re glad that the community is up to speed on all of it! If that wasn’t enough reason to be excited, many of these technical developments were completed thanks to the tireless efforts of the barebones team that initiated this project.
Many of our new team members have only just begun to transition into their various roles, so it’s full steam ahead from here! With such an awesome group of professionals working around the clock to bring this project to life, we have high expectations for the final product!
Stay tuned for more updates from the Telos EVM Team and be sure to follow us on all our social channels to stay in the loop with all news from within the Telos ecosystem!
