# Telos auth.md

Telos.net is a public informational website. Public pages, documentation links,
ecosystem listings, and discovery metadata can be read without registration or
OAuth credentials.

## Agent Audience

This file is for AI agents, crawlers, and automated clients reading public
Telos website resources.

## Agent Registration

No agent registration is required for the public Telos website, `/.well-known/`
discovery documents, `/llms.txt`, or `/sitemap.xml`. Telos does not issue
public website credentials to agents, and there is no public `register_uri` for
these resources.

The public website registration posture is:

Agents that need authenticated access to non-public Telos systems should use the
specific product or API documentation for that system. Do not infer an agent
registration flow from this public website.

## Standalone Public Website Flow

Agents can complete the public website flow without registration:

1. Discover `https://telos.net/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource`.
2. Confirm `authorization_servers` is empty and `scopes_supported` is empty.
3. Use anonymous public access for website resources.
4. Do not request a credential, claim token, API key, OAuth access token, or
   bearer token for public website resources.

### Register

No `POST /agent/auth` request is available or required for public website
resources. Registration is not supported for this resource because all public
website resources are already readable without credentials.

## Supported Methods

- Public website access: no credentials required.
- Bearer tokens: not supported for public website resources.
- OAuth/OIDC issuer: not published for telos.net public website resources.
- Agent registration method: none for public website resources.
- Agent credential type: none for public website resources.
- Admin CMS access: restricted to human editors through the site's Netlify
  Identity-backed Decap CMS and is not a public agent registration flow.

## Credential Use

Agents should not send OAuth bearer tokens, API keys, or private wallet
credentials to telos.net public website resources. Wallet, bridge, swap, and
staking actions must be completed by users in the relevant official product UI.
